currently i have opted for google app email services for few of my domains. I m using the free service as it's storage capacity is 6gb and spam filtering is superb above all itegration with other gmail accounts possible.
I am afraid whether google will provide the same service free always or will force people to purchase for continuous uses.
although i love the service but paying $50 for one email is just enough for us.|||Hey friend,
All of us have this question in mind. But if u see, google is already making a lot of money just from interactive marketing (AdSense etc...), so they dont need money from email users.
Also, if they impose a fee, they will loose millions of email users like me and you because we will not pay them in any case for just an email.
This happened to an email giant usa.net in year 2001. I had an account(my first email) on usa.net, but millions of users left it because of the fee. So dont worry, they wont do it.
The only scenario possible for this is: if suppose 80% or more of the email users in the world are using gmail, and they have no other option to go (except using gmail), then only the stakeholders of the company can decide to go PAID.
Dont Worry...This is too far a situation to become real.
