Are Google Docs, Spreadsheet etc. apps working entirely on Javascript code? If so, can't we view this code?

My understanding is the Google Apps - since they are all browser-based - run on Javascript. And isn't all javascript code visible to the user? So does that mean all Google's applications are by default open source?|||There is much more to scripting than just Javascript. Javascript is an example of a client-side script, which is executed at run-time, and visible to the user. But there is also server-side scripting languages, such as PHP, in use. These are not accessible by the user.|||Don't know how to setup Google Apps for your domain name?
