I'm considering making a iPhone/Android app and wanted to know if google or apple charges developers a "start up fee" or something similar. I already know they take 30% of every app sold and the taxes involved. Thanks|||I am not ware of any for the android.
But apple does require all developers to be in their developer program before they can even submit apps to the app store and to even look at the SDK to make the programs.
It costs 99 dollars a year.|||I don't know if you'd call it a start up fee, but you can only develop iPhone apps on a Mac. Dunno if they charge for the tools.|||As far as I know Android doesn't charge, Apple probably do though.
