I'm trying to buy a domain name.
I'm doing it on google apps. It says it's $10 a year.
I don't quite understand all the terms and agreements.
Are there hidden costs or does anyone have any bad stories of it?|||I have Google Apps account for almost 2 years. It only costs $10 (total cost per year), but you are not purchasing the domain name from Google, you have to make a choice to purchase it either through GoDaddy.com or eNom (I use eNom, and their customer service is very quick when I have an issue).
The point of purchasing through Google is so that it will be automatically setup to use Google's product and services. So, when you purchase your domain via Google, you will use Google for your email hosting.
Google is just a reseller of domain names for both GoDaddy.com and eNom.|||I use http://www.newinternetdomains.com because they are only $10 and they give you total control over the domain name. But everyone has this $0.18 ICANN fee.
