Google apps for samsung intercept..?

How do I get a google apps account? I've read havin one is how you get apps to download.. is there a link? The one I've tried I'm pretty sure you have to pay....is it free at all?|||There is no such thing as a google "Apps" account. Market logs in using the default gmail account you used to set up your device. You just need a Gmail account.
