At google apps std version, can I host the public website at another provider but continue to use Email@GApps?

I am using Google apps standard version. All email accounts are working perfectly but I do not want to host my public website on Google Apps due to its very limited nature. Can I host the public website at another provider and continue to use Google Apps for email?|||Hello!
